Dr. Gregory W. Ganser, DDS - Canton Cosmetic Dentist

Gregory Ganser was born in Milwaukee, WI and currently resides in North Canton, OH. He is a graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in Louisville, OH. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Cincinnati in 1988 where he was part of the Metro Conference Division 1 Men’s Tennis Team. He completed Masters Studies in Microbiology/Genetics at the University of Akron. His formal education culminated in 1992 upon completion of his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he took the oath of office in the United States Navy and was commissioned an Ensign on May 29, 1992. His first active duty assignment was Branch Dental Clinic, NAS Meridian, MS. He shortly transferred cross country to Alameda, CA where he was acting Dental Officer from February 1993 to May 1995. Many assingments later, Captain Ganser’s 30 year service to the U.S. Navy culminated on June 1, 2022 and earned a number of personal service decorations.               Dr. (Captain) Ganser at the U.S. Naval Academy Chapel, Annapolis, MD.

In his civilian career, he enjoys private dental practice in Canton, OH. He is a past active member of the Boy Scouts of America and recipient of the Eagle Scout Award. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Association of the United States Navy, The Cardinal Newman Society, Right to Life of Northeast Ohio, The Catholic League, The Heritage Foundation, United States Tennis Professionals Association, National Humane Society and U.S. Navy Reserve Officers Association. He enjoys tennis, biking and serving the Catholic Church and community at Sancta Clara Monastery in Canton, OH.
